Hi, I'm Tommi.
I've built software for eighteen years. Patient monitors at GE, an EV charging network, and a lot in between. I work from Kuopio, Finland, usually with one or two clients at a time.
The rest of the time I build things I want to exist. Most of them stay on my own machine. Two of them have a page here.
Client work
Most weeks I'm working with a client. I prefer to join early, before the important decisions are made, and to stay until the system is running in production. Usually that means architecture and hands-on engineering together.
If that's what brought you here, there's a longer page about it.
How I work with clients →Available for new projects from October 2026Sidebets
Big Weather→Weather in your Mac menu bar. A glance gives you the temperature, a click gives you the rest of the week.ez→A command-line tool for aliases that belong to a project instead of your shell config, so the whole team gets them with the repo.
There are usually a couple more going at any time. Some ship, some don't.
And if you just want to say hello, hello@urtti.com works.
