Founding engineer on a greenfield EV charging network for a major Finnish energy company — cloud backend, consumer app, operator dashboard and payments. Five years in and still shipping, now alongside the client's in-house team.
ECG, SpO₂ and invasive pressure monitoring software shipping in GE CARESCAPE bedside and transport monitors used worldwide — built on a decade of IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 work.
OwlOCR, a privacy-focused macOS utility, grown solo to thousands of monthly active users — engineering, product, pricing and support — through to acquisition.
What I do
System design alongside product and design while the direction is still open — then building it: event-driven backends, mobile apps, dashboards and integrations.
Python/FastAPI, TypeScript/React, Flutter, Swift, Azure, Terraform, CI/CD. I drop into an existing team and pull my weight from the first week.
IEC 62304 development processes, ISO 14971 risk management and verification strategy for medical devices — rigor that carries over anywhere failure is expensive.
Technical leadership and mentoring through code review — including onboarding in-house teams to own the systems I helped build.
